Consignment

Consignment offers a slightly higher payout than an in-store purchase for sellers who want the most without the hassle of dealing with potential buyers. Our store provides an excellent listening room and museum-worthy amplifiers to display your gear at the best that it can be. No more tire-kickers, no sketchy meetups in parking lots, no more painful haggling. Let us handle the presentation and customer service, we have a dedicated following on social media who fly through our front doors when they see something they want.

We also provide the option to list instruments on our Reverb.com store and take advantage of our 5-star reputation and brick-and-mortar location to sell quickly to confident buyers. An additional fee applies per Reverb’s business model.

FAQs

Why Consign?

Reputation is everything when dealing with the vintage instrument market and buyers are more willing to spend money to purchase an instrument from a reputatable, brick-and-mortar shop than from an anonymous individual. We take high quality photographs and provide in-depth descriptions of the instrument and handle all the communication with potential buyers. You get the easy job of kicking back and waiting for the check.

Will you ship my instrument?

We ship within the United States and are experienced in securely packaging instruments both with and without cases. We are an Aeris dealer and use their packing materials and boxes to ensure integrity when shipping. We also take full advantage of Reverb’s shipping insurance and seller protection so everyone is protected in case of an accident

Is there a charge for consignment?

If your instrument has not sold, you do not pay anything and are free to pick it up at any time. If the instrument sells it is subject to the rates listed above.

How am I payed?

Items are subject to a 7-day return policy after the customer receives it. Afterwards we will reach out to you via the provided communication methods and provide a check for the percentage value of the instrument
