1927 Martin T-18 Tiple
For sale today is a Martin T-18 Tiple from 1927. This instrument sounds fantastic and is a joy to play. A few notes on the overall condition:
-This Tiple has a fair bit of play wear, as well as a couple small cracks on the back that are currently stable/not moving. A portion of the top has also been oversprayed. It appears to have had a pickguard on at some point, which is included in the case. See photos.
-There is a bridge crack that appears to have been repaired, and feels stable.
-The original bar frets have plenty of wear, and some minor divoting, but the wear is relatively even and the instrument rings out up and down the fretboard without significant buzzing, dead spots, or other major issues.
-Nut is non-original, but everything else appears to be original.
-The nut width is 1.493" (37.92mm)
-The action is currently around 5/64" on the bass side and 4/64" on the treble side at the 12th fret. This instrument has had a neck reset.
-Weight is 1 lbs. 12.31 oz.
This instrument will be packed with the utmost care and ship fully insured with a chipboard case. Please reach out if you have any additional questions, thanks for looking!
