Martin Style 2 Mahogany Soprano Ukulele 1930s - Natural
For sale today is a beautifully kept Martin Style 2 Soprano Ukulele from the 1930's. This features an all mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fingerboard. This has a super clean finish with tons of shine. There is almost no damage to note anywhere. It was obvious that the instrument was never abused. It comes with its original case also which is in great shape too. The tone is so strong out of this Uke with more volume than I've heard out of any other Soprano.
There is a crack present on the back that has been repaired and is now nearly invisible (see photos). There was another repair done on the side of the instrument on the lower bout that was repaired, and finish re-touched. It is structurally and physically one of the nicest looking 80 year old instruments that we have seen. There is hardly any fret wear, the action is low with no fret-out, and it holds tune well. Don't miss out on this fantastic sounding piece of Martin history and please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
