Supro Ltd. Ed. David Bowie 1961 Dual Tone 2018 - White

For sale today is a very gently used Supro Dual Tone limited edition David Bowie guitar. This features a maple neck set in a mahogany body, a pau ferro fretboard, Supro Vistatone pickups, 24.75" scale, 2-volume, and 2-tone knobs. From tip to tail this guitar has some serious mojo. Starting at the headstock you get a great blacked out look with a mirror "Bowie" inlayed. The back of the neck is satin where your hand moves to allow for smooth transitions. The high mass bridge/tailpiece setup really makes this guitar ring like a bell even when it's unplugged. These single coil pickups are in a class all their own with their growl, and their sweetness. They sound great whether you're using a clean channel or throwing some fuzz on it. It also happens to play like absolute butter with extremely low action and fantastic response.

It is a pre-owned guitar so it has some very minor finish imperfections, but it is in spectacular shape still. On the back of the guitar near the strap button are two small indentations about the size of a grain of rice. The finish remains in that area. There are some light buckle scratches on the back but otherwise the only visible marks are some extremely light clear coat swirling. The guitar has never abused in any way.
