Supro Coronado 1961 - Natural
For sale today is a very special Supro Coronado from 1961. This guitar is a very cool example of a hollow body with no holes and tons of cool sounds within. The guitar appears to be original except possibly a replaced nut. Playing this is a dream with super low action, some light buzzing but no fret-out. It has a great jangly sound that lends itself well to almost any style of country, jazz, lo-fi, rock, etc. The body is made from laminate maple, and the top from laminate spruce. The neck is poplar, and the fingerboard is Brazilian rosewood. The controls are working as they should and there's no intermittent issues. The guitar comes shipped in its original hardshell case that even includes a case key/envelope. Overall condition of this guitar is excellent with no cracks or structural issues anywhere, and also a very clean finish with minimal wear considering this guitar is over 60 years old. Tuning stability is great too with these tuners working as they should. Please let us know if you have any questions on this beautiful vintage Supro Coronado and we will do our best to help. Thank you for looking and have a great day!
