For sale today is a beautiful Gibson Les Paul Tribute Junior Double-Cut from 2019. This guitar features a maple neck, mahogany body, rosewood fretboard, a single Gibson soapbar P-90, a wrap tail bridge, and volume/tone controls. This guitar is much more than a one trick pony. By limiting yourself to one pickup, you gain maximum string resonance and it causes you to think outside of your tonal box.
This guitar has a great feel and sound. Every note rings true up the fretboard and it has nice, low action. Even full step bends ring true. This guitar is reliant on its tone and volume to alter the sound. By dialing the tone back, and the volume down slightly, you can get a nice rhythm sound. Turning the volume back up brings in the snarl.
The overall condition is excellent as there is a very small amount of play wear. The frets are in great shape with no visible divots, and just a small amount of wear. The pickguard has some micro pick scratches/swirls. There are a few pick marks that creep to the treble side of the picking area, but did not remove the finish. There is one impression near the tone control that is smaller than a grain of rice and finish is still present. Moving on to the back of the guitar you will notice some stand burns near the bottom where it sat too long on a rubber stand. These show finish wear, but the pigment/stain is still present in these areas. There are two small dings along the back edge that are smaller than a grain of rice & finish is still present in these areas.
