G&L G-200 1982 - Sunburst
For sale today is a historically important G&L G-200 from 1982. This guitar was one of the last G-200's to ever leave the factory. It features a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, all mahogany body, a shorter scale length (24.75). Only 209 of these guitars were produced by G&L, and an even smaller number (+-20) were produced with rear mounted controls. It plays like a dream and the pickups are fantastic sounding, not to mention all the different tonal options you get with the switching. To top it all off, this one has Leo's signature in the neck pocket from final inspection. This guitar is quite the rarity and is registered on guitarsbyleo.com.
It has been well taken care of and does not have any structural issues or cracking of any kind. There is some light checking that has started around the control area which is photographed. Otherwise, there are a few dings around the body, but not much. The largest is near the leg-rest area near the control plate and is down through the finish, but isn't visible from the front of the guitar whatsoever. The neck has a small ding on it behind the 7th/8th fret but that is the only ding on the neck. There is hardly any fretwear to speak on at all. The guitar is completely original and will ship in its original hardcase. If you have any questions on this wonderful guitar please let us know and we will do our absolute best to help. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
