Fender Mustang with Rosewood Fretboard 1974 - Competition Red

For sale today is a beautiful Fender Mustang Competition from 1974. This guitar features a beautifully checked Competition Red finish that has aged to perfection these 50 years. It is all original aside from the bridge springs being removed *(included in case) for tuning stability. The neck plays like butter and even though it has a tighter nut width, it is very comfortable to play. All switch positions work just as they should and provide a wide array of great tone from both pickups. The pickups are strong on this one and truly provide that nuance and jangle that we love from these guitars. The action and playability is top notch on this one with nice low action and no fret-out all the way up the board. There are a couple small chips and dings here and there, the most notable of which is near the upper horn strap button. The headstock also features some love taps on the top. Below are some tech specs on this beautiful guitar.
