Fender Dual Six Console Steel Guitar - 1973
For sale today is a beautiful 1974 Fender Dual Six Professional Console Steel Guitar. This features two necks that can be tuned independently from one another. Each neck contains six strings and two pickups. It features a 3-way selector switch to go between the two necks, or to use both simultaneously. Then you get a tone and volume knob. This steel had a unique and usable modification made so you have a blend pot on each bridge. This pot allows you to usher in the neck pickup in the electronic configuration.
This unit will come with all its legs (on which the chrome looks fantastic) and its original case. The steel does show some signs of wear like light pitting on the chrome bridge and tuners, and some finish wear. All the components of this work as they should however and sounds great. The case has the orange interior which is still holding up well. All in all this is a great deal on a beautiful looking and sounding vintage Fender steel guitar. Please let us know if you have any questions on this great piece and we will do our best to help. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
