Epiphone Joe Pass Signature Emperor 1992 - Cherry Sunburst Korea

For sale today is a beautiful Epiphone Emperor Joe Pass model from 1992. This guitar was built in the Samick factory in Korea which is highly regarded for quality. It features a 3pc maple neck, a laminate maple body with a spruce top, block inlays on a rosewood fretboard, a tortoise shell pickguard, dual humbucking pickups, gold hardware, an ebony bridge, and the body is fully hollow. The guitar was kept in amazing shape and hardly shows any signs of wear aside from micro scratches in the clear coat/pickguard.

This guitar sounds and plays great. The neck is a thin profile and is very fast. The pickups have a beautiful darker character to them, which compliments the jazz/blues vibe of this guitar very well. The guitar is extremely resonant making it not only a great stage guitar, but also one that you could enjoy unamplified on the couch. The "cherry" sunburst does not have the Ronald McDonald look at all, with the red being more on the brown side, and the lighter sections having a beautiful amber tinge.

The frets are in great shape and play true all the way up the neck with ease. The Joe Pass signature on the pickguard is visible in certain light but has worn away and cannot be seen in normal settings. Otherwise, this guitar is in fabulous shape and was very well built. It will come shipped in a hardcase and will be packed with utmost care. Please let us know if you have any questions on this fantastic guitar and we will do our best to help. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
