Carvin DC-200 1984 - Natural Koa

For sale today is a very nice Carvin DC-200 made in 1984 with all koa construction! This guitar features a koa neck, koa body, an ebony fretboard, and is extremely lightweight at 6 lbs. 14 oz. The guitar looks great with a surprising amount of figuring in the koa wood. The electronics are working just as they should. Your tonal options are boundless with both coil-split and phase switches, as well as stereo outputs. The pickups are high output and have a great clarity to them.

The guitar has seen some years of solid use, but not abuse. Around the guitar you will find all manor of little dings and finish imperfections, but no large dents or cracks. The back of the guitar has some buckle worming (& one larger scratch) but nothing that chipped the clear coat away. The back of the neck is relatively free of dings and the headstock looks pretty good as well with just a little chip-out on the very tip. The frets have some wear to them, specifically under the "G" & "B" strings, but it plays true with no buzz or fret out. All in all the guitar is in fabulous shape for being 40 years old. It will come shipped in its original hardshell case and will be packed with utmost care. Please let us know if you have any questions on this great guitar and we will do our best to help. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
