1974 Yamaha SG-45 - Natural

For sale today is a 1974 Yamaha SG-45 in natural, with original hard case and case candy. This guitar offers a unique take on single-cut stylings, with a modified cutaway, funky hardware, and two-tone natural finish.

The finish has dings and dents you would expect to see on a 50-year-old instrument, but is overall in good condition. The pickups have been swapped out by a previous owner, but the pair of humbuckers currently residing in the guitar sound fantastic, and all electronics work as they should. The frets do have a significant amount of play wear. We adjusted the neck to have the proper relief, and the guitar plays correctly up most of the neck, but it does fret out in quite a few places once you get past the 15th fret. This guitar is definitely a candidate for a full setup/fretwork, which is reflected in the price. The guitar will ship with its original hard case and will be packed with the utmost care.
