1963 Fender Champion Lap Steel

For sale today is a Fender Champion Lap Steel that looks to be from 1963. The serial numbers on these are generally unhelpful, but from the date codes on the pots put this one firmly in '63 or early '64. A few notes on the overall condition:

-The instrument has some of the wear  you would expect to see on an instrument of this age, but is overall in good cosmetic condition (see photos). It does not have any major repairs or structural issues. One of the tuner heads has crumbled a bit, but it is still useable.

-All hardware and electronics appear original, and this lap steel sounds and plays great!

-Includes original hardshell case.

-Weight is 5 lbs. 5.94 oz.
