For sale today is a Fender Jazzmaster from 1959, with a replacement neck from 1965. This is one of the good ones: it plays fantastic, and sounds phenominal, the original 1959 pickups are rich and responsive. A few notes on the overall condition:
-This guitar has a lot of play wear all around, but nothing that affects sound, playability, or structural stability (see photos). It has been refinished at some point, and the refin has a lot of natural wear and character.
-The instrument came to our shop with basically no frets left, so it has a fresh refret and plays smooth as butter.
-Weight is 8 lbs. 0.17 oz.
