1954 Gibson ES-125

For sale today is a Gibson ES-125 from 1954. This guitar is in good shape, a great example from this era. A few notes on the overall condition:

-The guitar is structureally sound, with no major issues or repairs. The top has sunk just a bit under the bridge (pictured), but this is not an issue for playability.

-There is a spot near the output jack where something caused a reaction with the lacquer. This is purely cosmetic and the guitar is otherwise in good cosmetic shape for its age (see photos).

-The frets do appear to be original, but not having a history of the guitar, we cannot guarantee that. They are small, but the wear on them is even and the guitar rings out up and down the fretboard without dead spots or other major issues. There is some fret buzz that can be heard when playing unplugged, but is a non-issue when playing through an amplifier.

-This guitar is a great player, and that P-90 pickup sounds fantastic.

-Weight is 5 lbs. 4.64 oz.

This guitar will be packed with the utmost care and ship with a non-original Gibson hardshell case. Please reach out if you have any additional questions, thanks for looking!
