1948 Gibson ES-125

For sale today is a well-loved, first year Gibson ES-125 with the flat back and poles rather than screws in the P-90. A few notes on the overall condition:

-This guitar has lived plenty of life, with lots of play wear and battle scars throughout (see photos). There are several repaired cracks on the back, and the back has also been refinished, but everything is currently structurally stable.

-The frets could definitely benefit from good level - there are some buzzy spots and a few nearly dead notes around and above the 12th fret. It does play well across most of the fretboard though, and the frets still have some life left in them.

-The action is right around 5/64" across the board at the 12th fret, with plenty of room to come down without shaving the bridge.

-Nut Width is 1 11/16" (42.94mm)

-Weight is 4 lbs. 10.96 oz.

-Includes non-original hardshell case.

This guitar will be packed with the utmost care and ship fully insured with the hardshell case. Please reach out if you have any additional questions, thanks for looking!
