Hofner 500/1-63

For sale today is a used Hofner 500/1-63 reissue bass. This is a well-built, great playing, modern recreation of a classic we all know. A few notes on the overall condition:

-This bass has some small dings and scratches throughout. Beyond that, it has some light play wear, but nothing major, and nothing that affects playability, sound, or structural stability (see photos).

-There is some corrosion on some of the hardware and clouding under the finish in some spots. This is purely cosmetic, the bass is fully functional and structurally sound. This may be due to the gassing off of the plastics when left in the case for a long timew, or potentially humidity.

-The frets have some wear, but the wear is even and the instrument rings out up and down the fretboard without dead spots or other major issues.

-The bass is currently set up with flat wound strings.

-Weight is 5 lbs. 0.71 oz.
