For sale today is a Fender Custom Shop '59 Precision Bass Closet Classic. Featuring a checked and very lightly reliced nitro finish, this bass plays like butter and sounds phenominal. The bass was well cared for and is in good condition, with some play wear, but nothing major and nothing that affects sound or performance (see photos). There are holes from where the pickup cover and bridge cover were installed, but the covers are included in the case. There is fret wear, but the wear is light and even and the bass rings out up and down the fretboard without dead spots or other issues. The bass will include original hardshell case, as well as the bridge & pickup covers, strap buttons, and hang tags and polish cloth.
