1972 Fender Precision Bass
For sale today is a Fender Precision Bass from 1982. This bass has plenty of wear (or mojo, if you prefer), but plays well and sounds fantastic. A few notes on. the overall condition:
-The bridge and tuners are original. The tuners were replaced at one point, but the originals are back on now.
-The electronics have all been replaced. It currently sports a Lindy Fralin pickup and newer pots.
-The headstock has been repaired and is structurally sound.
-The frets have quite a bit of wear, but the wear is even and the bass rings out up and down the fretboard without dead spots. There is a bit of fret buzz up towards the high end of the fretboard, but no dead notes.
-It is difficult to tell in the picture, but the thumb wear is deep on this one, and even goes under the pickguard in places.
-The original nut was replaced with a brass nut.
-Weighs 8 lbs. 7.63 oz.
This bass will be packed with the utmost care and ship with a non-original hardshell case. Please reach out if you have any questions, thanks for looking!
