For sale today is a Fender Jazz Bass from 1968. A few notes on the overall condition:
-This bass has a fair amount of play wear and checking, expected of an instrument of this age, but nothing that affects sound, playability, or structural stability (see photos).
-The original frets are quite worn, but the wear is even, and outside of some minor sizzle in a few spots, the bass rings out up and down the fretboard without significant buzzing, dead spots, or other major issues.
-There is a pretty amateur looking route going on under the pickguard, likely an attempt to add another pickup (see photos). You would never know with the pickguard on, but it is important to note.
-Weight is 8 lbs. 13.1 oz.
