For sale today is a Gibson EB-O from 1961. This bass is a great sounding and playing example from this era. A few notes on the overall condition:
-This bass has a headstock repair. The work is clean and the instrument is solid. It appears to be under the original finish, so it may be a Gibson factory repair.
-The pickguard is a replacement. The thumb rest may be as well, although that is not definitive. The rest of the hardware appears original.
-The frets have some wear, but the wear is even and the bass rings out up and down the fretboard without dead spots or other issues.
