Jennings JMI Domino Bass Piggyback Amp 1962 - Black
For sale today is a beautiful Jennings (JMI) Domino Bass amplifier. This amp features a separate head and cab both finished in black with a very cool salt & pepper grille cloth. This is essentially a Vox AC4 that was made for department stores. It shares a similar circuit but a different configuration, speaker type and cabinet. It features a single 12" speaker and has a beautiful tone. The grit you can get from this amp is super unique. It has a spitting sound that is a nice contrast to the tone from a champ. There's a little extra seasoning on the sound of these.
The amplifier has been gone through and had the necessary caps replaced so it sounds nice and strong. It has a 3-prong cord now. It shows some scuffing on the painted portions of the head and cab, but the grille cloth is in fantastic shape. The control panel has some wear to it in the finish, as well as some of the metal being bent slightly, but this does not affect the tone, or functionality of this great amplifier. Please let us know if you have any questions on this and we will do our best to help. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
