Gibson GA-6 1957
For sale today is an amazing sounding Gibson GA-6 combo amp. This is the one that folks call the poor mans tweed deluxe, and once you hear it, you'll know exactly why. In the 1950s the GA-6 was intended to directly compete with the classic widepanel 5C3 Fender Deluxe, which in fact, the circuit of the GA-6 resembles quite a bit. This particular amp looks great with a just few wear spots in the tolex, and the grille cloth looking good. The back panel is still present and intact. It has been serviced, and a 3-prong cable added. All functions test great and the sound is that perfect, round sound that turns to a buttery drive when it's cranked up. Part of the original Gibson logo is still present on the front. The amp sports its original Jensen speaker and original transformers. Feel free to stop by our shop and try this amp today! Please let us know if you have any questions on this great amp and we will do our best to help. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
