Taylor 714ce with Fishman Electronics 2001 - Natural

For sale today is a very nice Taylor 714-CE from 2001. This guitar features a rosewood back/sides with a cedar top. The neck is mahogany with an ebony fretboard. The headstock has a rosewood overlay. The soundhole has a beautiful wooden rosette around it. The body features rosewood binding. The tone of this guitar is mellow, and concise at the same time. It works great for fingerstyle guitar, and sounds awesome when strummed too. If you have been playing Taylors and they are too bright for your ears, maybe try one with a cedar top!

The condition of the guitar is listed as "Very Good" because while the guitar does have its bumps and bruises, there are no structural or playing issues. The top of the headstock has its share of dings and finish chipping. Moving down the neck you will feel a few different spots that have some impressions, finish wear and dings. The majority of the wear is on the top of the guitar (see photos for detailed view). Most of these dings are not through the finish, but the one under the bridge, and below the pickguard are. The back/sides of the guitar are comparatively clean with very minimal wear. The frets have some wear to them, but are not causing any problems. The divots are mostly isolated under the "B" & "E" strings. They are more worn at the first two frets than the rest of the neck. The electronics have been fully tested and are working great.

The guitar has been freshly set up, strung, oiled and feels great. It will be packed with utmost care and shipped in a non-original hardcase.
