Kay Deluxe Archtop 1930's - Sunburst

For sale today is a beautiful Kay Deluxe Archtop from the 1930's. This guitar came to us with a bad neck angle and high action. We corrected this with aid from the awesome design of the heel, allowing you to shim the neck to the desired angle. After a full set-up it's playing great! The bridge is original, as is most of the guitar aside from the tuners. The neck is attached to the body with a bolt and wing nut! The guitar looks the part with a nice gradient to the burst also.

The guitar plays well with normal action for an archtop acoustic. The sound of this is certainly more arch top than flat top, but has a little more ring to it than an F-hole style. The back and sides appear to be maple and the top is spruce. The overall condition is very good as there are just a few minor finish imperfections and it plays just as it should. The frets are original and in good shape too with no big divots or fret-out. This guitar will ship in its original hardshell case and will be packed with utmost care. Please let us know if you have any questions on this and we will do our best to help. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
