Gibson LG-0 1966 - Natural

For sale today is an awesome example of a Gibson LG-0 from 1966. This guitar is mostly original and is all mahogany. From tip to tail you can tell that this guitar was never abused. It has a very clean aesthetic compared to a lot of other similar LG-0's we've seen. The neck set is good and the action is nice and low. The nut is skinny which is nice for smaller hands like mine. There are no cracks to speak on whatsoever. The rosewood fretboard is a nice rich color and the frets still have plenty of life in them. The sound of this guitar is a fingerpickers dream with nice rich mids and vibrant highs. Even with a light touch it provides concise sound.

The guitar did come in with a very little bit of bridge lift, which is a common occurrence on these as the bridge is made from plastic. The bridge is also held down with two screws through the top, and is stable/holding tune well. It is something that does not need immediate attention as it is not getting worse, but will eventually be a great candidate for a bridge replacement (maybe the next one made out of wood this time). The treble side tuners are non original but are very close to the same in function and looks. Physically the guitar is in wonderful shape. There is lacquer age checking across the whole guitar which looks fantastic. The headstock is relatively clean and the heel is down tight as well. This guitar will ship in a non original hardcase. Please let us know if you have any questions on this fantastic vintage Gibson and we will do our best to help. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
