1963 Gibson Hummingbird

For sale today is an absolutely stunning Gibson Hummingbird from 1963. This guitar is one of the cleanest we have seen from this era, in every regard, a true closet classic. The finish and pickguard painting are both striking, with all the pickguard details intact, almost no checking in the laquer, and the original burst finish is stunning, with little to no fading of the red dye. The frets have minimal wear and no divots, leaving this guitar playing well across the fretboard. All of the braces are secure, the guitar is structural solid and sounds absolutely fantastic. The guitar will be packed with the utmost care and ship fully insured with an era-correct, but non-Gibson hardshell case (pictured).
