1954 Gibson LG-3
For sale today is a Gibson LG-3 from 1954. A few notes on the overall condition:
-This guitar has a fair bit of play wear, and beautiful checking throughout, but nothing that affects sound, playability, or structural stability. See photos.
-The frets have some wear, but the wear is even and the instrument rings out up and down the fretboard without significant buzzing, dead spots, or other major issues.
-One of the back braces is missing, one is original, and two are replacements.
-The bridge is a replacement.
-Bridge plate is original, but has been cut and plugged with a StewMac kit.
-A couple back cracks that have been repaired and feel stable.
-Tuner buttons have been replaced.
-The nut width is 1.694" (43.03mm)
-The action is currently around 5/64" on the bass side and 4/64" on the treble side at the 12th fret. There is some room to come down at the saddle, but not a lot.
-Weight is 3 lbs. 14.73 oz.
