1950 Martin D-18
For sale today is a Martin D-18 from 1950. This beautiful example of mid-century Martin is a joy to play and sounds phenominal. A few notes on the overall condition:
-This guitar has some play wear, expected of a guitar this age, but nothing that affects sound, playability, or structural stability (see photos).
-This guitar has been refretted at some point. The current frets have some wear, but the wear is even and the instrument rings out up and down the fretboard without dead spots or other major issues.
-The nut width is 1.69" (42.94mm)
-This guitar has had a neck reset. The work is clean, and there is room to come down at the saddle. (see photos).
-The guitar has a new bone nut and saddle.
-There was a top crack near the pickguard that has been professionally repaired.
-A strap button has been added at the heel.
-Weight is 4 lbs. 2.97 oz.
