For sale today is a 1940's Epiphone Triumph. This guitar boasts loud, articulate tones that these archtops are known for. It does have some repairs & modifications form the last 80+ years, which are reflected in the price, and shown in the photos:
-Crack repair in upper bout near neck joint. It is not pretty, but it is stable.
-Heel repair. The neck angle is good, and the joint is stable, you can only tell by two spots on the fretboard (pictured) and some coverup on the heel (oversprayed).
-Refret
-Replacement Tuners, tailpiece, and top of bridge.
