1931 Martin 000-28
For sale today is a Martin 000-28 from 1931. This guitar has both a face and a voice for radio. While it has plenty of wear & repairs, this is a phenominal sounding instrument that is a joy to play. A few notes on the overall condition:
-This guitar has lived a lot of life in the last 94 years. There are a handful of crack repairs, that are all currently solid. We believe the neck was replaced at the Martin factory at some point (it still has the Martin stamp). There is also a small hole in the neck block, likely where the neck was supported with a screw as a temporary fix. This guitar has a lot of repairs in its history, but is currently structurally stable and sounds fantastic. Please see all photos and ask any questions you may have and we will do our best to answer them.
-The frets have some wear, but there are no dead notes or other major fret issues.
-The bridge, pickguard, and tuners are all non-original.
-The guitar has been re-finished.
-Nut width: 1.88" (47.97mm)
-12th Fret Action: 4/64" across the board.
-Saddle: 6/64" from the bridge to the low E, 7/64" from the bridge to the high E.
-Weight: 4 lbs. 0.08 oz.
This guitar will be packed with the utmost care and ship fully insured with a non-original hardshell case. Please reach out if you have any additional questions, thanks for looking!
